Hockey Program Benefits

The most important aspect of the hockey program is the positive, personal growth of each player. Some of the benefits of the Okanagan Hockey School include:

  • An all-round life experience that will benefit the student as an academic, hockey player and person.
  • Life in the beautiful, wholesome city of Penticton.
  • The experience of living with a new family, developing communication skills and the confidence to interact with new people.
  • Attending the Penticton Secondary School - a school that holds its student athletes responsible for Academic Excellence.
  • Specialized on and off-ice training.
  • Exposure to leagues, teams and players in Junior A, Major Junior, College and Pro.
  • A program that will develop a player's character as much as their hockey skills.
  • A hockey program run by professionals with each individual player’s best interest at heart.
